Easy Anzacs

Easy Anzacs! 

Ingredients:

1 Cup Rolled Oats

1 Cup Wholemeal Spelt Flour

1 Cup Desiccated Coconut

125grams Butter

1/2 Tsp Bicarb

3 Tbsp Maple/Golden Syrup

2 Tbsp Coconut Sugar - you could leave out they are pretty sweet with just maple.

2tbsp Boiling water

*Swaps -

Rice malt for maple syrup

Almond Meal for Spelt flour

 

Method

Add Oats, flour and coconut  (in a bowl doofus)

Heat butter and maple syrup on oven in a pot.

Oh shit, turn oven on 160 and preheat

Add bicarb to boiling water and stir, it will fizz and froth

add to butter and maple mixture, it with froth like a mofo. Stir and take off heat

Add to dry mix and stir :)

Roll into balls, various sizes just to make it fun or for the OCD in us, make EXACTLY THE SAME SIZE.

Add to tray with baking paper to save washing up.

Place in oven for 12 mins. Watch them brown, do not check email, they will end up black, like my first batch did.
